CHURÍN

 Churín, Peru.

Churín is a spa town about 7 hrs by bus from Lima in the foothills of the Andes.

It is a thriving town aimed more at Peruvian tourists than at 'gringos'.

 Taking the cure, Churín

Two hours soaking in the sulphorous waters is alleged to cure almost anything.

 Swimming hole at Churín

Less curative but more attractive swimming hole. Water is at 'warm bath' temperature.

 El Velo de la Novia

This warm waterfall is called "El Velo de la Novia" (the Bride's veil). Better when not windy.
